About this page

On this page you will read comments I have written, articles I have copied and photos dealing with the controversial subject of God and Country.

Over the year's groups of people have worked very hard to separate Church and State by causing such a stink which has resulted in removing prayer and The Pledge of Allegiance from school, religious quotes and articles from government offices, not limited to but including Christmas themes,  greetings and decorations.

We are slowly but surely making it politically incorrect to associate these two subjects with each other.  It is a sad world we live in today.

Many of us have worked for companies who have forbid their employees to greet their costumer during Christmas season with Merry Christmas for fear of offending someone.

The sad part of this is that the groups who are raising all the ruckus is a small minority group of people.  How they get so much attention and force their demands on the majority is way beyond my understanding.

Visit this page often as I intend to post every article that catches my attention and I expect frequent additions to this page.

Merry Christmas

There is hope!

I just returned from the doctor's office where I had to have blood drawn.  The lab technician, a very pleasant lady after the work was done wished me a Merry Christmas.  I told her that I was happy to hear her say those words and that so many business don't allow their employees to do so for fear of offending someone.  She told me they used to not allow this and also any sort of Christmas decorations but have since changed their policy to allow it.  And the best part yet, she said that when they banned Christmas greetings she refused to be a part of this PC crap and went ahead and did so against company policy.  Now for the kicker, she said, and I quote "I am a Jew".  I had to laugh and I told her "good for you".

So as you can see there is hope!  More and more people are starting to realize what a bunch of hogwash this PC crap is and are buying out of it.

My Hat is off to the State of Indiana

While vacationing in Branson Missouri earlier this month I came upon this car with Indiana licence plates.  I told June I was going to take a photo of it to put on the Website.  I walked back to the car with my camera just as the owners were returning.  I told them how much I liked seeing "In God We Trust" on the plate and ask them if they minded if I took a picture of the plate.  They told me to be their guest and also told me when the got the plate they recieved a lot of comments about it both posttive and negitive.  What got my dander up was them telling me how it offended a lot of people.  I thanked them for having the courage to proudly display the plate.

My hat is off to the state of Indiana for making this special plate available to their citizens.

One Nation Under God

Red Skelton's Pledge of Alligance

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our country, and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance - "under God." Wouldn't it be a pity if someone said, "That is a prayer," and that would be eliminated from schools, too?"
